ANTIBODY AGAINST HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS, PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF

The antibody against herpes simplex virus inducing lips and somatic disease was prepared. Thus, vero cell line(ATCC CCL81) was cultured in 20 ml of Eagles minimum essential medium added 5 wt.% of fetal bovine serum to form 90 volume % of monolayer. After removing the culture solution, HSV-1 stock virus was seeded to the vero cell monolayer, cultured at 37 deg. C for 2 hours in CO2 cultivator, followed by addition of the culture media at 37 deg. C for 24 hours in CO2 cultivator to give an antigen. The antigen was diluted by 0.01M PBS(pH 7.4), and mixed with a Complete Freund Ajuvant to form an emulsion. The emulsion was injected to a hen to give the antibody.
