PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating glass safety device for an automobile excellent in appearance and simple in structure. SOLUTION: An electrode 8a and a pressure sensing sensor 8b composed of pressure conductive rubber are interposed while being piled up with each other between a contacting/detachable packing holder 1 at the upper end of a pane of glass and the base end part 2a of a contacting/detachable packing 2, and the pressure sensing sensor 8b, the electrode 8a and an elevating control, device 8d are connected with one another by a conductor 8c so as to allow a circuit to be formed. When hands, a neck and the like are held between the contacting/detachable packing 2 and the upper end of an elevating pane of glass 4, and when current for a motor 7 exceeds its upper limit value, an elevation control device 8d is operated. Therefore, the motor 7 is operated for the downward movement of a pane of glass, concurrently when the elevating pane of glass 1, is entirely closed, the pressure sensing glass 8b is pressed by the upper end of the elevating pane of glass 4 so as to be conductive, current thereby flows in the circuit, the elevating control device 8d is thereby operated, and the motor 7 is so designed as to be suspended. |
