PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent specified harmonic waves by serially connecting a parallel circuit of a current limiter reactor and a capacitor between a harmonic current generating load and a power system. SOLUTION: A load Z such as a semiconductor converter which generates a great amount of harmonic current is installed and a harmonic filter F is parallelly connected to the load Z to absorb the harmonic current of the load. Then, a higher harmonic trap TC1 wherein a current limiter reactor L and a capacitor C are parallelly connected that causes a parallel resonance is serially connected to the harmonic filter F and then the TC1 is connected to a power system (e). Due to this circuit configuration, specified harmonic waves can be prevented and the power system (c) can be protected from the troubles caused by harmonic waves. |
