<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show the easy-to-read icons at a display part even when an image display device is used for either of landscapes and portraits. SOLUTION: The work area 45 of a display part 40 selectively displays the images in one of two orthogonal directions 46 and 48. The marks 50 to 58 and 60 to 68 such as icons, etc., which are shown in the area 45 include the designs having the upper parts demarcating the upright display positions of the marks. Furthermore, these marks are oriented at a certain angleθset between both directions 46 and 48 for the upright display of them.</p> |
