PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an infrared image by using a Schottky barrier diode. SOLUTION: An SBD(Schottky barrier diode) 21 conducts to a power supply 34 via a resistance 33 with the prescribed timing and by means of the drive pulsesϕH1 andϕH2 outputted from a horizontal scanning circuit 32 and the drive pulsesϕV1 andϕV2 outputted from a vertical scanning circuit 31 respectively. At the same time, the electric charge charged at the SBD 21 by the voltage Vo of the supply 34 is discharged by the inverse current and simultaneously with a non-conduction state set between the SBD 21 and the supply 34. When the conduction is secured again between the SBD 21 and the supply 34 after a storage time, the electric charge equivalent to that discharged within the storage time is charged at the SBD 21. At the same time, the voltage corresponding to the charged electric charge value is outputted through an output terminal 39. |
