A home controller of a home automation system by using a touch panel and a liquid crystal display is disclosed. In the controller, a location recognition device(16) recognizes and stores a contacting location of a touch panel. A first storage means stores image data. A first control means receives the information from the location recognition device(16), generates a control signal, outputs the control signal to a home information bus, receives the image data from the first storage means and outputs it to a second control means. A second storage means temporarily stores a selected image data. A second control means receives the selected image data from the first control means and outputs it to the second storage means, reads the selected image data from the second storage means and outputs it to a liquid crystal display. |
