COMMUNICATION ADAPTOR USING PLURALITY OF USER INTERFACE OPTIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the communication of data by activating plural transceiver devices mounted on a carrier board against a remotely linked data communication system via a programmable digital signal processor. SOLUTION: A chassis 105 of a portable PC 100 is provided with a basic processor 110 which is connected to an input device 130, an output device 140 and a main memory 120. Then an adapter 250 included in a slot 160 is provided with a connector which is connected to a transceiver device that exchanges data with another remotely linked data communication system 270 and is corresponding to the communication platform requested by the specific system 270. The software program stored in the memory 120 gives an instruction to the programmable digital signal processor connected to the processor 110 via a bus 150 and then transfers the data to the system 270 via a communication circuit 260.
