摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new recombinant plasmid capable of efficiently producing a poly-β-hydroxybutyric acid from the cyanophycean algae without using an organic carbon source or a reducing substance by connecting an Alcaligenes eutrophus enzyme group to a downstream of a promoter sequence derived from the cyanophycean algae. SOLUTION: This new recombinant plasmid has a region necessary for replication in the cyanophycean algae and has an integrated group coding for an enzyme group composed of β-ketothiolase derived from Alcaligenes eutrophus, acetoacetyl CoA reductase and polyhydroxybutyrate polymerase to a downstream of the sequence of the formula having a promoter activity derived from the cyanophycean algae, and is useful for efficiently producing poly-β- hydroxybutyric acid expected of applications in medicines, agricultural chemicals, a medical material or an industrial material, etc., as a thermoplastic resin decomposable by a microorganism without requiring a reducing substance such as an organic carbon source or H2 by transforming the cyanophycean algae Synechococcus sp., etc.
