PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mold clamping device of a blow molding machine, the running cost of which can be suppressed low and, at the same time, in which various problems due to hydraulic controlling do not occur. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted as to be equipped with a main body 2, tie bars 3, which are back-and-forth movably supported by the main body 2, a front platen 4 and a rear platen 5 provided at the front and rear end parts of the tie bars 3 and a movable platen 6 arranged opposite to the front platen 4 and back-and-forth movably onto the tie bars 3 and, in addition, a split mold 8 on the side opposing to the front platen 4 of the movable platen 6. In this case, to the main body part 2, a crank mechanism 9 and a driving source 10 for transmitting a driving force to the crank shaft 90 of the crank mechanism 9 are annexed and the rear platen 5 and the movable platen 6 are connected through connecting rods 92 and 93 to the crank arm 91 of the crank mechanism 9. |
