<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise by suppressing a sudden rise of pressure in a compression chamber after opening a delivery valve, in the vicinity of the top dead center of a piston. SOLUTION: In a reciprocating piston type compressor arranging a piston reciprocation movably in a cylinder bore 30 in a housing, a communication path 45 is provided so that spaces 32a, 32b of a compression chamber 32, positioned in both sides of an intake valve 42, communicate astride this intake valve 42. When the piston is moved in the vicinity of the top dead center, refrigerant gas in both the spaces 32a, 32b of the compression chamber 32, positioned in both sides of the intake valve 42, is fluidized without resistance through the communication path 45 to be guided to a delivery hole 43.</p> |
