PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a highly efficient adsorption by utilizing the adsorbability of an adsorbent particle. SOLUTION: A suspension is prepared by dispersing the hydrophilic adsorbent having <=10μm particle diameter and a dispersing agent in a dispersion medium. Then the adsorbent particle 2 is carried on a carrier 1 consisting of an inorganic fiber to obtain the adsorbing body having high adsorbability by mixing to disperse further a binder consisting essentially of silicon and additives such as an assistant for molding in the suspension by a dispersion machine and coating the carrier 1 with the suspension or dipping the carrier 1 in the suspension without aggregating the particle and drying them.
