FIELD: vacuum engineering, sealing of joints pipe lines and reservoirs working in wide range of negative and positive temperatures. SUBSTANCE: flanged joint including metal seal and thermal compensator consists of inlet branch pipe, toroidal envelope and variable section cone, sealing edge and wedge-shaped groove. Inlet branch pipe of thermal compensator is made in form of conical cylinder with curvilinear lower portion changing into toroidal; it is connected with variable-section cone whose inner vertex is located in vertical axis at right angle at its vertex. Areas of cross sections of variable-section cone are identical to area of cross section of toroidal envelope at maximum section. EFFECT: reliable sealing at thermal shocks in wide range of negative and positive temperature. 2 cl, 1 dwg |
