PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a document with favorable layout without requiring large work burden at the time of changing a format by changing a document form based on a conversion rule table which is generated by means of designating a conversion rule for the document from. SOLUTION: The conversion rule designating part 42 of a document arrangement changing function 40 for changing the position of a character, a graphic and a ruled line designates the conversion rule in accordance with an input from a keyboard. A conversion rule storage part 44 generates the conversion rule table for registering change contents in the layout after format change and stores it in the table storage part 46a of a document arrangement changing part 46. The document arrangement changing part 46 changes the document format and also changes document information stored in a document information storage part 54 by following data stored in the conversion rule table in accordance with the conversion rule which is stored in the conversion rule storage part 44 so as to change document arrangement. |
