PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of input operation by displaying a designated selection item in the form distinguishable from other selection items so that the designated selection item can be confirmed at a glance. SOLUTION: A display 3 is provided with a touch panel switch 6 as a switch (input unit) 1 for setting or modifying information to be displayed. When one of selection items 10-14 is selected/designated from a memory 4, a CPU 2 displays the designated selection item in different manner so that it can be distinguished from other selection items. For example, a selected item is displayed at upper left on the screen or the color of item or the lightness of background is altered. Consequently, a selected item can be determined at a glance immediately after designation and a car navigation can be operated reliably while confirming various input operations.
