摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a flicker by symmetrically making a data signal writing level on a high potential side and on a low potential side. SOLUTION: In an n-channel type transistor NM' and a p-channel type transistor PM' composing a sampling circuit SMP, the values ofμ×W/L and W/L (μ: mobility, W: channel width and L: channel length) are made nearly equal in the n-channel type transistor NM' and the p-channel transistor PM', thereby making even a data writing speed and the change of a potential in finishing write so that the data signal of a high potential side and the data signal of a low potential side at the finishing of write be made symmetrical. Since the image signals of a positive potential side and a negative potential side are made symmetrical by applying this sampling circuit SMP to an image display device for performing reversal drive display, an image display device capable of high-quality display in which the generation of a flicker or the like is suppressed can be realized.
