PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently remove water/carbon dioxide gas in stock air even when they are cooled with a fluorocarbon freezer by previously drying the stock air cooled after compression with a rotary dehumidifier and removing part of contained water, and thereafter adsorbing and removing the water/ carbon dioxide gas in the stock air with an adsorbent. SOLUTION: Stock air sucked from an air intake hole 1 is compressed to predetermined pressure with a compressor 2, and is then heat-exchanged with ordinary temperature cooling water in an after-cooler whereby it is removed in its compression heat therefrom and is cooled. The stock air is introduced into a dehumidifying operation part 12a of a rotary dehumidifier 11 and makes contact with matter having a water absorption function to be absorbed in its water whereby most part of the water is removed. The stock air preliminarily removed in its water up to a dew point of -10 to -40 deg.C is introduced into a water cooler 15 and is removed in its temperature corresponding to a fraction raised owing to water removal, and is then introduced into an adsorption cylinder filled with an adsorbent through an inlet valve of an adsorber 6 whereby carbon dioxide gas and remaining water in the stock air are removed.
|
