PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform channel switching and input switching operations without any sense of incompatibility. SOLUTION: A video reproducing device 10 is provided with an external input terminal 22 for commonly receiving an external input signal and an output signal from a decoder. Besides, a microcomputer 18 is provided with a memory 18a and this memory 18a stores decoder input setting information showing whether or not an output signal from a decoder 15 is to be selected. Based on this input setting information, the microcomputer 18 inhibits the selection of external input to which the decoder is connected. |
