FIELD: mining industry; underground fire-fighting. SUBSTANCE: according to method, additional indicating gas is delivered into worked-out space under fire contour at moment of changing gas pressure differential between that in worked-out space and day surface. Detected is appearance of delivered gas on day surface and changing in concentration of fire gases. Measured are time intervals between delivery and outcome of gas to surface and between pressure differential change and change in content of fired gases on surface. Fire lying depth is determined according to formula. EFFECT: improved accuracy in locating underground fires with higher efficiency of limiting and suppressing of fires for safer mining operations. 1 dwg |
