FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of artificial satellites into multiple geosynchronous orbits and obtaining images of earth objects located in observation band of artificial satellite; these images are obtained in observation bands whose width is selected for one artificial satellite by maximum magnitude (by (поΦ)) of valve π as function of width in preset range of observation and minimum magnitudes (by (поΦ)) of parameters π(Δ), π(Δ) illustrating relationships of required width of observation band of artificial satellite versus covered arc Δ of parallel at width v to the right and to the left from point of intersection of parallel by artificial satellite route. In case of several artificial satellites, they are injected into orbits at the same inclination, ratio parameters and simultaneous passage of terrestrial equator by all artificial satellites at definite angular distance from one another; images are obtained on observation bands whose width is selected from special conditions of capture determined by width Φof maximum magnitude p and arc D at width Φfor which magnitude p(Δ) or π(Δ) is equal to maximum magnitude π.
