<p>Used polyethylene, esp. polyethylene used for packaging milk pdts., is regenerated by (a) cutting into small pieces, (b) drying the pieces in an air stream, (c) removing the pieces from the air stream by sieving, (d) adding to the pieces a regenerating mixt. of polyethylene or an ethylene polymer, and a plasticiser, and (e) moulding the pdt. in the cold state. Specif., the regenerating mixt. contains an agent for preventing the caramelisation of the casein from the milk, a swelling agent, and mineral fillers.</p> |
