A highly heat-resistant crosslinked polymer is prepared by subjecting an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer consisting of the repeating monomeric units of the formula (ASiH2), in which A is a divalent hydrocarbon group such as phenylene group, to an oxidative crosslinking reaction by heating in air at 50 DEG to 400 DEG C.
