PURPOSE: To enhance the emission of light from a marker while reducing power consumption by filling a hollow shell having head part of hemispherical outer surface with a filler and disposing a light emitting element and a power supply at the opening thereof. CONSTITUTION: The liquid surface marker 10 comprises a bullet type hollow shell 11 having hemispherical head part. The shell 11 made of a transparent material is internally filled with a translucent get filter 12 and the hemispherical emission head part of a light emitting element 13 is inserted into the open end of shell 11. A rubber bag battery case 15 contains a button battery power supply 16 and the opening thereof is fitted removably to the outer surface at the bottom of shell 11. When the marker 10 is thrown into a liquid, the case 15 acts as a weight and the marker 10 floats on the surface of liquid with the hemispherical head part directing vertically upward. Light from the element 13 is diffused through the filler 12 and passed the shell 11 thus emitting light entirely from the shell 11. In this regard, the hemispherical head part of shell 11 acts as a lens and emits light intensively therefrom. Consequently, emission of light from the marker 10 is enhanced while reducing power consumption and the marker 10 can be found easily. |
