PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a planter capable of surely sucking up water without leaving water even if the amount of water stored at the bottom is reduced and to extremely decrease the frequency of watering, by dividing a case into a nutrient soil storage part and a water storage part by a partition plate and forming drain holes through the sidewall of the case. SOLUTION: A partition plate 2 is installed so as to form a flow gap 6 between the bottom of the partition plate 2 and the bottom of a case 1. A storage part 3 of nutritive soil is separated from a water storage part 4 for watering. The sidewall of the case 1 at the storage part 3 side of nutritive soil is provided with plural drain holes 5.
