FIELD: mechanical engineering; automobiles. SUBSTANCE: to change kinematic coupling of front and rear wheels, steering wheel 1 is connected through gear 2 with toothed rack 3 of automobile front wheel turning linkage 4. Rack 3 is connected with toothed wheel 5 on which gear 6 is mounted. Gear 6 is connected with toothed rack of slider 7. Control handle is secured on shaft of gear 6. Slider 7 is connected with toothed sector 10 by means of longitudinal tie-rod 9. Sector 10 is in meshing with toothed rack 11 of rear wheel turning linkage 12.
