PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electronically modify a power supply and obtain a small-sized, inexpensive power supply capable of stably supplying power by making the voltage waveform of the output signals from a second frequency converting means similar to the voltage waveform of first alternating-current power input. SOLUTION: A primary-side rectifying smoothing circuit 1 rectifies the alternating- current power of first frequency input. A main switching circuit 2 converts it into a second frequency higher than the frequency of the output signals from the first rectifying means 1. A transformer 3 for voltage conversion converts the voltage of the output signals from a first frequency converting means 2 into a second voltage. A secondary-side rectifying smoothing circuit 4 converts the frequency of the output signals from a voltage converting means 3 into a first frequency. A bridge circuit 5, a bridge driver circuit 30, and a timing switching circuit 31 make the voltage waveform of the output signals from the second frequency converting means 4 similar to the voltage waveform of a first alternating-current power. This makes it possible to electronically modify a power supply and obtain a small-sized, inexpensive power supply capable of stably supplying power.
