VIDEO CONFERENCE SYSTEM SELECTION DEVICE AND OPERATION PANEL USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the video conference system selection device with excellent operability by which the connection and management of plural video conference devices are attained only with a operation of an operation panel and the operation panel used for the selection device by controlling a matrix switch based on the operation of the operation panel. SOLUTION: The operation panel shown in figure is an operation panel to select one of plural video conference devices and one of plural 'codec' sets and to connect them, and when any of pushbuttons 'codec A-D and spare' and any of 'conference rooms 1-4 and spare' on the operation panel are depressed, a lamp arranged at a position where the depressed pushbuttons are in crossing is lighted to indicate the connection state. The video conference system selector controls a matrix switch to connect the selected codec and the selected video conference device in response to the depression of the pushbuttons on the operation panel. Thus, the video conference system selector and the operation panel used for it with excellent operability are obtained.
