PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate starting and stopping of an electric motor required in climbing a gradient. SOLUTION: A power-assisted handcart comprises hand-pushed handles 4 installed on a car body 3 to be disposed at a back part of the car body 3, an electric motor 7 to drive running wheels 2 of the car body 3 for assisting running, and a control means 8 to control the electric motor 7. An inclination sensor 9 to detect forward/back inclination of the car body 3 is provided, and an inclination control means to control the electric motor 7 in accordance with a detection value by the inclination sensor 9 is set in the control means 8. |
