摘要 FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: production line includes new sequence of assemblies: those for melting carnallite and/or magnesium chloride crystalline hydrates; for chlorination of concentrated melt; for refining melt with direct current and for depositing solid suspensions 1; refining 2 and flow electrolyzers 3 combined into groups; assembly for separation of magnesium from electrolyte 4 and disposition of pumps 5 for pumping through and dispensing electrolytes. All members of productive line are interconnected with system of channels for transporting electrolyte providing its successive flowing through all electrolyzers and assemblies. Assembly 1 for refining of concentrated melt with direct current has two or more compartments successively engaged into hydrodynamic system. Refining electrolyzers 2 are constructed with upper inlet of anodes and their separation compartments are located next to front wall of electrolyzer. Their working space is separated with transversal partition into two or more parts, upper edge of partitions reaching level of circulation windows. Electrolyzers 3 are combined into groups, in each of them they being arranged on the same level and being interconnected with horizontal channels. From the first to the latter electrolyzers' group, level of groups is lowered and channels between them are inclined. In assembly 4 for separating magnesium from electrolyte, there is magnesium receiver disposed in compartment isolated from dispensing pumps 5 with refractory barrier whose overflow lip stabilizes melt level in receiver. Assembly 4 for magnesium separation is connected with refining electrolyzers 2 through channel 23 for transferring recycled electrolyte. Oven for melting crystalline hydrates, assemblies for preparing raw material to electrolysis, and assembly for separating magnesium from electrolyte may be mounted beyond rows of electrolyzers and length of channels interconnecting them many times exceeds length of channels between electrolyzers or their groups. Productive line also includes rear-end electrolyzers 24 located after assembly 4, their number may be equal to 3-0% of the total number of line electrolyzers. Rear-end electrolyzers enclose transversal partitions separating compartments with electrodes. Melt transportation channels are made as hermetic free-flow heat insulated ones. EFFECT: simplified process flowsheet.
