A method for preparing artificial stone comprising the step attaching plural metal cases(2) to a base(1) at constant intervals and then connecting them to a boiler(5) using a hose(6), the step fixing the FRP mold(3) having the same uneven surface as natural stone into said metal cases(2), the step inserting the mixture of 20% cement, 15% stone powder, 60% shell and 5% AEG into the FRP mold(3), and the step drying, curing and demolding the mixture is disclosed. Thereby, it is possible to obtain the light and strong product and to solve the contamination due to shell.
