Disclosed is an apparatus to prevent misoperation of a manual gear for a car. The apparatus comprises a control shaft, an interlock plate, a control finger, a moving plate and a stopper. A selection lever and a shift lever are installed on the control shaft. The interlock plate coupled with the control shaft moves to upper and lower direction and slips to its rotation direction. The control finger in the interlock plate is coupled and moves with the control shaft. The moving plate is coupled and moves with the control shaft to control working range of the control finger. The stopper is installed at rear side wall of the interlock plate to reach a side face of the moving plate. Also, an edge portion of the stopper is elastically moved to front and rear direction. Thereby, the structure is simple, and the misoperation due to deformation can be prevented.
