FEEDING MECHANISM OF MINING MACHINE

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: high reliability and operational efficiency of feeding mechanism are achieved due to maximal approximation of optimal mode of operation of continuous miner and most effective mode of operation of electromagnetic brake. Feeding mechanism has electric motor which is connected with reducer housing. Mechanism is provided with epicyclic reducer which is made up of input shaft with carrier mounted on it. Mechanism has electromagnetic brake which is made up of excitation coil and inductor mounted on shaft. Also installed in mechanism is speed shifting setup having shafts which carry transmission in the form of pairs of gears. One pair with gear ratio of i = 2 which is underdrive gearing. Other pair is with gear ratio of i =1. Carrier is connected with shaft through gears, and shaft is connected through epicyclic gearing with output shaft on which pulling sprocket is mounted for interaction with stationary with pulling member. Mounted on shaft in feeding mechanism is parking brake which holds mining machine at stoppages and in operation on incline seams. EFFECT: high efficiency.
