<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor-generator cheap in cost, capable of reducing fuel consumption, and besides capable of curtailing the cost of transportation for movement, the incidental cost for installment, etc. SOLUTION: Concerning to a motor-generator having an AC generator 11 to be used as a power source for an AC motor 12, through a switching circuit 19 for supplementing power lacking at the time of starting and a converter 17. And at the time of starting the AC motor 12, the AC motor 12 is started by power generated by the AC generator 11. At this time simultaneously, the DC power of the battery 16 is converted into AC power by the converter 17 and the lacking power component at the time of starting is supplied to the AC motor 12. When the motor begins to rotate stationarily, the switching circuit 19 is opened by a signal from a timer 18, and the AC motor 12 rotates only by the power from the AC generator 11.</p> |
