<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner with which high definition in a color image and stable electrification property for a monochromatic image can be obtd. and fog or the like is not caused even when the toner is used for a long time by mixing a specified toner fine powder having specified volume average particle size prepared by classification, a granulated fine powder having a specified volume average particle size produced by granulating the toner fine powder, a resin and a coloring agent, and kneading the mixture, pulverizing and classifying. SOLUTION: In the production method of a toner including processes to mix a resin and a coloring agent, to knead the mixture, to pulverize and to classify, a raw fine powder having 1-6μm volume average particle size prepared by classification, a granular powder having 100-5000μm volume average particle size prepared by granulating the raw powder, a resin and a coloring agent are mixed, and the mixture is kneaded, pulverized and classified to obtain the toner. The toner fine powder (raw powder) which is not granulated has no dispersibility itself so that the powder of a small particle size does not deposit on the resin or the like nor give a shielding effect. However, by mixing the granulated fine powder having a larger particle size, the dispersibility of the powder can be increased. Namely, by using both of the raw fine powder and the granulated powder, dispersibility of the raw fine powder is increased to give the shielding effect.</p> |
