<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a blur free radar image by estimating the rotational motion of a target based on the shift of a radar image having a time difference produced from the radar echo of target. SOLUTION: A radar image generator 11 receives a radar echo from a target to generate radar images I1 , I2 having a micro time differenceΔt which are then stored 121, 122. One-dimensional shift detectors 131, 132 receives the images I1 , I2 and detects the shiftsΔx,Δy in the direction of X and Y axes. A linear approximation unit 141 determines a rotational speedωbased on a rotational angleθobtained by approximating the black point B ofΔx with a lineΔX and a time differenceΔt. Similarly,Δy is approximated 142 with a lineΔY. A rotational angle detector 15 and a center of rotational angle detector 16 detects the rotational angle and the center thereof, respectively, from processing resultsΔX,ΔY. When the blur is corrected at the time of generating a radar image based on the rotational angle and the center thereof, a radar image free from blur caused by the rotational movement of target can be obtained.</p> |
