摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the improvement in thermal efficiency of a heating furnace or the like and the miniaturization of a furnace by a method wherein a pair or a plurality of pairs of heat storage type heat exchanger integrated type combustion devices supplying combustion air to a burner and discharging combustion gas from the burner through a heat storage type heat exchanger, are installed on a furnace wall. SOLUTION: A heat storage type heat exchanger 30 is connected to the combustion air system (low-temperature fluid flow passage) 33 and the combustion exhaust gas system (high-temperature fluid flow passage) 34 of a burner system to burn a burner 35 by combustion air supplied through the same heat exchanger 30 and take combustion exhaust gas out of a furnace 3 7 to discharge it through the same heat exchanger 30 whereby combustion air is preheated by the waste heat of the combustion exhaust gas to a high temperature near that of the combustion exhaust gas. The furnace comprises a furnace body 48 and at least two sets of a pair of burners 35 installed on the furnace body 38 and combustion air is supplied through the heat storage type heat exchanger 30. On the other hand, combustion exhaust gas in the furnace 37 is taken out by a high-temperature fluid means or an exhaust tube 36, for example, which is connected to the combustion exhaust gas system.
