PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable filtering of an optical signal, without using a bandpass optical filter. SOLUTION: An optical signal propagating on an optical fiber is inputted to an injection locking laser device 1, this device is pulled in to the wavelength of this signal to synchronously oscillate. The synchronously oscillating output optical signal is converted into an intensity-modulated signal from the frequency- modulated signal and then inputted to an optical receiver 3 to demodulate it. Since the device 1 provide only the synchronously oscillated optical output, the input optical signal can be filtered. |
