PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable for communication wherein at least one transmission element made of insulated electric conductor is arranged in a cable core which is shielded by a metal shield which is covered with insulation material. SOLUTION: A shield 2 is formed of two foils superposed and formed of several pieces of metal band-shaped members, and the two sheets of foil having superposed positions 7, 8 extending in the longitudinal direction of cable are formed into a tube, the positions being offset in the circumferential direction. Accordingly, a cable with a simple structure and capable of being closely shielded in the case of very high frequency is provided. |
