PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic magnetic material having a small loss and magnetic permeability for a specific frequency by constituting the material by scattering magnetic particles composed of polycrystalline magnetic ceramic wafers in a dielectric binder so that the main surfaces of the wafers can become parallel to a magnetic field. SOLUTION: A synthetic magnetic material having a small loss and magnetic permeability in a magnetic field of about 100 MHz lower in frequency is obtained by scattering polycrystalline magnetic ceramic wafers 5 in a dielectric binder so that the main surfaces of the wafers 5 can become parallel to a magnetic field and the wafers 5 cannot come into contact with each other. The polycrystalline magnetic ceramic is composed of a spinel type ferrite expressed by Mx Zny Fe2+ε O4 (where, M represents Mg or Ni ions and x+y+ε=1) and the binder is composed of an epoxy, phenolic, polyamide, or acrylic resin. |
