PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a difference of longitudinal/lateral magnification from being caused in an output image even when an image of an original is rotated by 90/270 degrees in the case of fine-adjusting a scanning speed of the original. SOLUTION: When an image of an original is rotated by 90/270 degrees in the case of fine-adjusting an output magnification through the change in a scanning speed of the original, setting data denoting magnification fine- adjustment are called from a memory (S201, S220), the magnification in the main direction and the sub direction is set depending on the setting data (S230, S240). For example, when the setting data is less than 10% (when scanning speed slows down), the electric magnification is set so as to reduce the image in the main direction and to extend the image in the sub direction depending on the setting data. |
