PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver surely receiving radio information from a base station without remarkably increasing the consumption of a battery. SOLUTION: PLL data read out from a memory part 106 is set to the register of a frequency divider within a PLL part 103 at the time of starting. The output of VCO is frequency-divided by a frequency dividing number shown by PLL data by the frequency divider to obtain the local oscillating signal of a prescribed frequency so that a radio part 101 synchronizes with the frequency of the base station. At the time of detecting a synchronizing code in radio information from the base station, a decoder 202 in a control part 105 outputs a synchronizing code detection signal 'H' to a microcomputer 203. When the synchronizing code detection signal 'H' is not inputted from the decoder 202 within a fixed time, the microcomputer 203 in the control part 105 judges out of a receiving circle and reads PLL data from the memory part 106 to reset to the register. |
