PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a life of a motor accurately by calculating an estimated life of the motor based on load information from a load detecting means and driving time information from a driving time detecting means. SOLUTION: An estimated life of a serve motor 3 is estimated by the average input time of rotations based on driving time information and load information, the average executive torque, the rated torque of the servo motor 3, the rated number of rotations of the motor, and an expected life when the servo motor 3 is used with the rated torque and the rated number of rotations. In this case, the average input number of rotations is found from the amount of movement of the motor per one processing cycle and the time of one cycle, which are found from the processing cycle based on a command calculated by a motor rotational speed calculating means 4 in a position detector 4A and a rotational speed of the processing cycle. The averate executive torque is found from the amount of movement of the motor per one processing cycle and motor torque at such a processing cycle that the same command may be input into the serve motor 3. As a result, an accurate estimated life of the motor can be calculated. |
