PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain an excellent image quality with improved edge effect, in the liquid developing method for squeezing liquid by holding with squeeze rolls pair, and a liquid developing device capable of executing the same. SOLUTION: The liquid developing is performed by applying voltage in-between the squeeze rolls pair 32 and 33 held in contact with an electrostatic latent image forming surface, and a metallic supporting body. Then, liquid developer feeding means 28 and electrodeposition means is severally arrange corresponding to the rolls 32 and 33, and the liquid developing is performed by executing the electrodeposition of the toner particle on the squeezing roll surface. Moreover, the toner particle remaining on the squeeze rolls 32 and 33 surface is removed by toner particle removing means 27, while the liquid developing is performed. Furthermore, a part of the liquid developer is recovered into the tray 17 by providing recovering means of the developer in-between the electrodeposition means and the squeeze rolls pair 31, while the liquid developing is performed. |
