<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide noise reduction capacity additionally without requiring any phase matching processing by calculating a cross spectral matrix using a prediction coefficient matrix thereby determining a frequency spectrum. SOLUTION: A receiver group 50 comprises M receivers for converting an acoustic signal from a vessel or the like into an electric signal. A frequency analysis section 60 calculates a cross correlation matrix from cross correlation coefficients in M receiving signals being inputted to a cross correlation matrix calculating section 61 from the receiver group 50. A prediction coefficient matrix calculating section 62 calculates a prediction coefficient matrix by applying a multivariate linear prediction analysis to the cross correlation matrix. Based on prediction coefficient matrix, a cross spectral matrix calculating section 63 calculates a cross spectral matrix for each frequency to be analyzed. A frequency spectrum detecting section 64 calculates a frequency spectrum from a cross spectral matrix for each frequency to be analyzed and the frequency spectrum is presented on a display section 70 depending on the intensity thereof. According to the arrangement, noise reduction capacity can be added without requiring any phase matching processing.</p> |
