PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately refresh a customer display unit in a short cycle while lightening the load on application program by providing a copying means, a timer interruption signal generating means, and a refresh transmitting means which sends display data to the customer display unit. SOLUTION: This processor consists of an electronic cash register 10 and is provided with a refresh data memory, copying means 101 and 103, the timer interruption signal generating means 104, and refresh transmitting means 101 and 103. When the timer interruption signal generating means 104 generates a timer interruption signal at every set time, the refresh transmitting means 101 and 103 refresh and transmit display data copied in the refresh data memory to the customer display unit. Consequently, the display data of the customer display unit are refreshed at every set time without depending upon the application software. |
