摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the suitable azimuth and inclined angle of a solar battery panel at the time of installing the panel by computing the installation angle of the panel based on the position measuring output of a global positioning system and displaying the computed angle. SOLUTION: When the switch of the operating section 5 of a device 2 for computing and displaying installation angle of solar battery panel is turned on, the device 2 measures the latitude and longitude of the location where a solar battery panel is installed using a global positioning system 1. Of the information acquired from the system 1, the information on the latitude is fetched to the arithmetic section 3 of the device 2 and the installation angle of the panel is calculated by using the information on latitude and already known information on astromonical constants. The calculated value is displayed in the displaying section 4 of the device 2. Therefore, the suitable azimuth and inclined angle of the panel can be obtained at the time of installing the panel.
