<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer which can improve the transfer efficiency when a toner layer formed on a photoreceptor according to an electrostatic latent image to a recording medium and can form an image of good appearance while maintaining good image density based on high fluidity and suppressing fog in the image. SOLUTION: This developer for an electrostatic latent image is used for an image forming method to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor 10 with a toner 26 and to form an image on a recording medium 18. The developer contains a toner coated with an improving agent for the transfer efficiency by >=1 pt.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the toner. This improving agent consists of polymer fine particles having 0.1-3.0μm average particle which are subjected to surface treatment with a metal salt. This toner contains inorg. fine powder of hydrophobic silica fine particles externally added.</p> |
