<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable electrification and carrying of a toner for a long time and to obtain an image of high quality having high density without fog for a long time. SOLUTION: This nonmagnetic one-component developer consists of toner particles containing a binder resin, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent and having 4-13μm volume average particle size, a fluidizing agent having 6-20nm average particle size, and particles of aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid metal complex salt or azometal complex salt having 0.5-7.0μm average particle size. The charge amt. Ta (μC/g) of the developer satisfies the relation (I) 20<=|Ta|<=50. The obtd. developer is used for an image forming method including a process to form a latent image on a latent image holding body, a process to form a toner image on the latent image holding body with a nonmagnetic one-component developer on a developer carrying body, and a process to transfer the toner image to a transfer body.</p> |
