[Also in Group XXXIX] A pick-up, for use with stereophonic records and of the kind provided with two pick-up coils each with its own magnetic circuit, has a stylus holder sub-assembly 11, Figs. 1, 4, pivotally mounted on a rubber ring 15 carried in a removable casing 10. The casing 10 is inserted between the polepieces of the magnetic circuits. The stylus holder sub-assembly 11 comprises a longitudinally magnetized permanent magnet 15 and a stylus holder 16 carrying a stylus 14. The casing 10 is closed by a cover 17 secured by paint 18. Damping wings 20 at the rear of magnet 15 are immersed in silicone damping paste 19. Specifications 394,325 and 897,323 are referred to. |
