PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the donor roll which forms part of a scavengeless developing device and uses module type commutator. SOLUTION: The donor roll 40 is adaptively used in combination with a commutator 120 applying an electric field to the donor roll 40 so as to assist the conveyance of marking particles. The donor roll 40 has a main body 122 which is fitted rotatably and an electrode member 112 which is fitted to the main body 122. The donor roll 40 has a connector 136 which is related to the main body 122 in an operable state, electrically connected to the electrode member 112, and able to rotate together with the main body 122. The connector 136 can be connected detachably to the commutator 120. |
