PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephony equipment with a pager function improving convenience by adding the pager function to the portable telephone set and correlating respective functions to each other in addition. SOLUTION: When a pager receiving part 2 receives the call of a pager, MPU 1 stores called reception data (message) in a pager reception message storage memory 6 and when transmission operation is executed from an operation part 4 to a selected reception message and the reception message is a telephone number, a cellular reception part 3 calls to the telephone number. When the reception message is a name on the other hand, MPU 1 retrieves a telephone number corresponding to the name from a abbreviated dial memory for cellular transmission 7 and the cellular reception part 3 calls to the telephone number.
